My name is Raymond van Oosterhout, and I am a passionate collector of coins from the Low Countries (Netherlands and Belgium, c. 600 to 1800) and the Crusader States. Through RvO Numismatics, I aim to share my enthusiasm for coin collecting and the rich history they represent, inspiring others to explore the fascinating world of numismatics.
RvO Numismatics: More Than Just Coin Trading
At RvO Numismatics, it's not just about buying and selling coins; it's about providing comprehensive support and research services. My goal is to assist collectors worldwide in discovering and expanding their collections with carefully selected coins from medieval times up to c. 1800. In addition to trading coins, I offer a wide range of services, including:
- Research and Consultation: With years of experience and extensive knowledge of the historical context of coins, I provide professional research and tailored advice. I assist cataloging and managing collections, ensuring that coins are presented and preserved in the best possible way.
- Operational and Organizational Support: Drawing on my extensive experience in operations management and leadership roles, including serving as chairman and secretary, I offer assistance with tasks such as preparing for auctions, managing stands at fairs, and organizing exhibitions. My goal is to help navigate the practical and organizational aspects of collecting and collection management.
- Other Research & Management Consulting: Beyond numismatics, I am also available for historical research in the Netherlands, genealogical research, and management/organizational consulting.

In the 'Coin Gallery' there is a random selection of medieval coins from the Low Countries to give an idea about the varied coinage of this area during medieval times. A small selection of Crusader coins is also added.
